A 600,000sf warehouse that serves as the elections hub for Fulton County, GA and home for 8 additional departments and agencies. The facility is outfitted with a boardroom and control room hub, multipurpose training rooms, a variety of conference room sizes and equipment, access control, video surveillance, video streaming for live ballot counting and WiFi redundancy.  

Carrier Diversity

The building was outfitted with 2 circuit providers to maximize uptime. If one circuit fails, internet service seamlessly cuts over to the available one.  

 

State of the Art Control Room 

The facility can stream live ballot counting and board room meetings with leading edge video and audio capturing capabilities.

Nurse Call

The nurse call system employs advanced audio visual technology including wireless duress notification, large displays in observation and reception areas, and video conferencing.   

 

Multiple Stakeholders

The project team involves sponsors, healthcare operators, contractors, and internal staff. Technology roles and responsibilities for each stakeholder and for each task was thoughtfully prescribed to each. 

Behavioral Health Crisis Center

The new facility is slated to open mid to late 2024 and will include 24 beds and 16 observation chairs.  The facility intake will include a "living room" model with peer support, to help connect clients with the correct level of care for their needs.

Central Library 

As part of a $275M capital improvement program, Margaret Mitchell Central library underwent a major renovation of famed architect Marcel Breuer's original design. State of the art technology was infused throughout the building including a new fifth-floor indoor/outdoor conference center and event space, brand new cabling and network equipment, overhauled auditorium, computer lab, testing center, self service check out kiosks, self service pc use and printing, new WiFi, new video surveillance and guard control hub.   

Technology Center

A new grand staircase was added to lead patrons from the lobby to the new technology center on the second floor that contains a new testing center and computer labs.  

 

Self Service Features

This building has multiple floors of self service devices for patron pc use, printing, book check out and account management.
